Room 125 Productions is the name of the creative and talented film/media student production crew at Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Kansas. Members of the crew (consisting of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors) are responsible for the Homecoming and Winter Court videos, the annual Focus Film Festival as well as the LHS Podcasts and the LHS News Show.

In 2010, we began producing The Classroom Sessions, an opportunity for Lawrence High School film/media students to meet professional artists and talk art (film, music, etc.), storytelling and creativity in a classroom setting. The "Classroom Sessions" are also an opportunity for students to get "hands-on" experience in live filmmaking. The sessions are filmed and edited by the students of Room 125 Productions and are uploaded to YouTube. There, they have been incredibly well received around the world.

Students have also worked with the Cypress String Quartet and the Shins to produce unique videos that continue to get attention from across the county. Additionally, Room 125 Productions can be hired to make commercials—and have done so for several local Lawrence businesses (see our commercial for the Etc. Shop here).

We also contributed a short film to Lawrence's 2010 local food initiative, which can be seen here, as well as one in 2011--our first ever stop motion animation--which can be seen here.
